Olympiacos honors Bartzokas

Olympiacos paid honors to Giorgos Bartzokas for this offer during the time the Greek coach served in the Piraeus team bench.

The 51 year old coach of Barcelona, played Wednesday night (16/11) for the first time against Olympiacos following his departure in October 2014. And the Greek Champions honored him for his offer to the team.

Bartzokas, as the coach of Olympiacos, became the first Greek coach to win the Euroleague leading Olympiacos to a Back2Back title.

Giorgos and Panagiotis Angelopoulos, honored the 51 year old coach before the jump ball of the game against Barcelona presenting him with a framed photo of his and a miniature of a banner hanging from the stadium roof and depicts winning the Euroleague in London, in 2013.

The Greek coach was obviously moved when he received the mementos while the audience offered him a warm applause…
