Three more rebounds…

Stats entered basketball's daily life for good in 1992 and the first impressive records started being recorded.

During the 1993-94 season, as well as during the 1994-95 one, with only a few months difference, the Olympiacos players succeeded an impressive feat in terms of rebounds gathered in one game.

On February 5, 1994, in the game Dur Apollon Patron - Olympiacos (60-72) the players of Giannis Ioannidis gathered 56 rebounds and a few months later, on December 21, 1994, in the game Olympiacos - Soulis Sportig (116-55), it was another 56.

It's been a very long time since the 'reds' came close to breaking that record. They have almost succeeded five times since 2014, but the closest ever was the performance against Lavrio. Fifty three (53) rebounds was the number pointed out by the game stats at the end of the game, which is the second best in the history of the club.
