A special game for Mantzaris! (vid+pics)
Vangelis Mantzaris represented Olympiacos BC Sunday noon (Dec. 3) at the “1st Hope Streetball”, an event dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, that took place at the Syntagma Square and was organized with the help of OPAP by the Federation of Clubs of Greek Basketball Players in Wheelchairs (OSEKA), in collaboration with the Greek Paralympic Committee and the National Sports Federation of People with Disabilities.
“It’s a great honor to be here. It’s an important day. We are here for all those people that fight on a daily basis and are the true heroes of life. The deserve congrats plus our full support. May you are all always well”, our team’s guard said during his address to the fans, while he then participated in unique 3on3 game playing in a wheelchair himself!
