Brown: "I'll help anyway I can"

The new Olympiacos' transfer, Bobby Brown, is in Athens since Saturday evening (24/02) and is anxious to participate his first team practice!

"I feel good. I'm happy to return to Europe for a great team like Olympiacos. I'm anxious to start practicing with the team and get to know my new team mates...", the American guard stated.

Asked on how easy it's going to be for him to adjust to his new team, he answered: "At the end of the day, it's just basketball but at the highest level! I've been practicing every day. The only thing I find pressing is that time flies and I will be needing some time to learn the systems on both ends. However, I think that everything is going to work out as soon as I am on the floor with the rest of the players".
On his goals with the red jersey, he replied: "I want to help the team anyway I can. Offer experience. I have great team mates and I want to do whatever it takes for Olympiacos to win games. We need to see one game at a time. We'll be fighting for the Euroleague title and the Greek League... However, what we need to be doing is to focus at each one game seperately and when it's time".

When asked to comment on his two year tenure on the NBA floors with the Houston Rockets, he said: "It was a fun experience. My coach, my team mates... I had two great years in Houston. Playing everyday with these guys and compete against great players during games is unique. It was a learning experience for me and I want to bring this over here as well. I want to use my knowledge and help Olympiacos anyway I can".
From James Harden to Vasilis Spanoulis ... That was somehow the last question and Bobby Brown got to answer: "Spanoulis will be actually making my transition from the NBA all the more comfortable. Playing with Spanoulis after playing with James is going to be easy. We both play basketball, we are very competitive at a high level. Spanoulis plays basketball the right way. So, it's going to be easy and I can't wait".
