Bayern Munich: Targeting the playoffs

Bayern Munich was one victory away from boarding the train to the Euroleague playoffs last season, however, this past summer made significant additions aiming to go as far down the road as possible.

The brightest star: Greg Monroe! The American center - after a long career with the NBA - was one of the most 'thunderous' signings of the summer and very well deserved so. He's the top scorer and top rebounder of Bayern and the player that more often than not makes the difference.

I know you from someplace:  Thomas Bray had played for Kolossos Rhodes during the 2017/18 season, while De Marcus Nelson had been a player for Panathinaikos during the 2014/15 one.

Like a tourist:  In case you travel to the German city to support our team, here are some tips. Munich is built on the banks of the Izar, one of the biggest tributaries of upper Danube.  It is the third largest populated city in Germany following Berlin and Hamburg.

Must do: Take a stroll in the city's main square (12th century through today). There you will find some of the most significant sightseeing, like the domineering Neue Rathaus, the famous Glockenspiel of the city hall, while you will also find an elevator to take you to the top of the building to enjoy a panoramic view of Munich!

Must eat:  Beer with Brezn bans and Wurst. If you are not a fan, there is a multitude of local dishes and led wine to give you an authentic Bavarian culinary experience.
