The ambitious Armani Milano

Armani Milano has consistently had one of the highest budgets within the Euroleague during these past few years, however, they still haven't found the path to success.

The last time they made the playoffs was during the 2013-14 season. Nevertheless, they seem determined to make the TOP-8 -at least - this season…

In the summer of 2019, one of the top coaches in Europe (with a NBA experience), Ettore Messina, took over the team's bench and filled up the roster with impactful names. 

Τhe brightest star:  There are three very unique personalities with the Italian team. Coach Ettore Messina, who has won four Euroleague titles, the Spanish guard, Sergio Rodriguez, with two Euroleague titles and the Argentinean center Luis Scola, with a long NBA career behing him and important feats with the National team of his country.

I know you from someplace: Armani's General Director, Christos Stavropoulos, had been a member of the Olympiacos family for 19 years. Vladimir Micov made a short lived pass from Panionios during the 2008-09 season.

* Vassilis Spanoulis - who has the record for more assists in the history of the Euroleague - is 65 points shy of tying the record of Juan Carlos Navarro and 66 from 'breaking' it and hence becoming the top scorer of the Euroleague. Also, he ranks second in terms of index rating with 3.883, where Navarro tops the category with 3.890.

* Also, the captain has made 250 steals and is tied at the 7th seed with Jonas Maciulis.

* Giorgos Printezis has grabbed 1251 rebounds and ranks 6th seed in said category, withy Mirsad Turkcan precedes him at 5th.
