The first official practice session for the 2021-22 season! (video+pics)

Our team’s first official practice session for the 2021-22 season took place on Thursday, August 19.

“First of all, I would like to wish for health”, the Olympiacos coach, Giorgos Bartzokas said and continued as follows: “We believe we are going to have an ambitious team and that the additions we made to our roster were the ones we needed. Of course we haven’t finished with our roster building yet. We are very close to doing so and see the team on the floor, being confident that it’s going to be a better team than last season’s. I repeat that the main factor will be remaining healthy and finishing up strong”.

Everyone but Mustafa Fall were present in the first practice. Fall has received special leave of absence due to his participating the Tokyo Olympic Games with the National Team of France. The French center will be arriving to our country tomorrow (August 20).

THE PRE-SEASON SCHEDULE

22/08 through 30/08: Main part of the pre-season at Pravets (Bulgaria). Departure for Pravets on August 22, at 17:00 CET.

29/08: Friendly game against Rilski Sportist Samokov

4-5/09: «bwin Tournament against Covid-19» (Peace and Friendship Stadium)

11-12/09: International tournament “Neofytos Chandriotis” (Cyprus)
