A winning start…
In the first friendly game of the season, Olympiacos bested Rilski Sportist Samokov with a score of 100-77.
With the exception of the first quarter that was very balanced (23-22), the ‘reds’ dominated the game and reached a comfortable victory. All the more, at the end of the 3rd quarter, they even got to lead by 31 (91-60).
Our team’s coach, Giorgos Bartzokas, did not have Livio Jean-Charles available, who got permission to travel to France on a personal matter, and neither Michalis Lountzis, who is suffering from a muscle spasms in his left posterior femoral. Additionally, Kostas Sloukas played only for 7 minutes, since he was feeling unwell.
The ‘reds’ are coming back from Pravets tomorrow (30/08), after completing the main part of their pre-season camp.
