The myth of King Bill (video+pics)

Olympiacos BC honored the Legend of ‘Thrylos’ (i.e the Greek word for ‘Legend’, which is an Olympiacos moniker), Vassilis Spanoulis, with a special event that took place in the central hall of the Peace and Friendship Stadium.

The Great Captain got on the podium together with the Presidents, Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos and revisited his enormous career as well as his achievements in the ‘reds’ jersey.

Next to the podium, all the trophies and individual accolades for Kill Bill were in parade, while the videos steered a lot of emotions: one dedicated to his career, one with messages by his kids and one featuring a message by the world Champ and NBA MVP Giannis Antentokounmpo!

Present at the event were Spanoulis’ family, every member of the current Olympiacos team, the Vice President of Olympiacos BC, Giorgos Skindilias, the President of the Hellenic Basketball Federation Vangelis Liolios, the President of HEBA, Vangelis Galatsopoulos and V-Span’s agent, Misko Raznatovic.
