Acy: "I want to offer our fans happy times and wins" (vid)

The new Olympiacos’ signing, Quincy Acy, arrived in Greece Friday morning (12/11).  

“I’m very excited”, the American forward/center stated. “I had been inactive for a little while and had the chance to spend some time with my family, however, I never lost my passion for the game and I’m here to add value to the team and win titles”.

Asked if he would need time to adjust and if Tyler Dorsey is going to be helping him with in the process, since they had been team mates with Maccabi Tel Aviv and remain very good friends, he said: “Tyler is my brother! He will be certainly helping me to adjust. Just like with everything new, the same is going to be with me, it’s going to take a minute, but at the end of the day, it’s basketball. What you need to be doing is to be competitive, play hard and try to win”.

Finally, he sent his message to the ‘reds’ fans. “I’m grateful. The team is getting energy from them and personally, I’m a player that draws energy from the fans, so I’m excited about what comes next and I hope to give them happy moments and wins”.
