Vezenkov: «We must protect our home»

The players of Olympiacos are determined to leave the loss to Anadolu Efes behind them and protect their undefeated record at the SEF during tomorrow’s game (19/11, 20.00 CET) against Maccabi.

“I don’t need to comment on the fourth quarter, we did not come out to play” was what the ‘reds’ forward, Sasha Vezenkov commented and went on to say: “It was shameful, we did nothing right, on either end of the floor. But we need to forget about it, because tomorrow we have a game, we definitely wanted to contest the win in last night’s game, but we didn’t succeed to do that, we need to forget about it and get better and definitely win our upcoming game”.  

About the game against the team from Israel, he stressed: “We play a very difficult game against a team that is in real good form, it’s obvious for sometime now that they are aiming for big things with the Euroleague. We need to take advantage of our home court, we are coming from two bad results, so we definitely want this win to protect our undefeated home record”.
