Bartzokas: «They were all exceptional»

The coach of Olympiacos, Giorgos Bartzokas, gave his players credit for the road win over Armani Milano, pointing out that everyone on the floor played an equally good game.

“It was a difficult game, in a difficult moment for us. We are happy for this big win. It’s never easy playing in this gym, against such a talented and experienced team, that has a great coach. We had to play really well and reach our limits. Obviously, in the first half we had an amazingly good performance offense wise, and an exceptional defensive performance in the second half. We deserved to win. We scored many threes, but we also had facilitation, patience and played a really smart game. Congratulations to my players, as well as to our fans that came here to support us. I want to say that apart from the players that everyone saw scored a lot and made a lot of threes, everyone on the team tonight did their job, fulfilled their roles and it was a real team effort. Whoever played tonight was exceptional, followed the plan we had devised for this particular game faithfully. I wish all the best to Armani”.
