Chr. Pappas: «Fenerbahce deserved the win»

Christos Pappas, assistant to Giorgos Bartzokas, represented the ‘reds’ technical staff at the Press Conference following the game against Fenerbahce.

The Olympiacos’ head coach was not eligible to attend, given he had gotten ejected during the game following two technical fouls.

“First of all, congratulations to Fenerbahce for its win. They played very well, especially defense wise. They put a lot of pressure on our offense, they played very hard defense and deserved the win”, the close associate to Giorgos Bartzokas stressed and went on saying: “I think that our team did not rise to the challenge. We were slower and did not play as tough as we should have played in a road game. The 15/29 threes by our opponent is proof of that. They also scored many points in the transition following our turnovers. We made 16 of them”.
