Bartzokas: «We relaxed both physically and mentally»

The painstaking games against Monaco were according to Giorgos Bartzokas the reason Olympiacos did not play up to their standards in the game against Ionikos.

“Congratulations to Ionikos for the good performance, they generally fight all their games. They have also won some essential ones. I wish them good luck in the future. For us, as you can understand, the game had been kind of a procedure following the painstaking games we played against Monacos. We have had five games of great intensity in a row. So, both the mind and body kind of relaxed, but this game allowed us to once again enter a way of thinking that we should be having right now… Because right or wrong, we still have two games to play to conclude with the regular season and from there on to focus on our next target. On Wednesday we are going to be more serious and the analysis of tonight’s game is going to help us do just that”.
