F4: The awards and the statements by the ‘reds’ protagonists (vid)

Today (18/05) has been a special one for Olympiacos, since three ‘reds’ were honored by the Euroleague!

Giorgos Bartzokas won Alexander Gomelsky Euroleague Coach of the Year honors for the 2021-22 season and dedicated his award to the Presidents of Olympiacos BC, Giorgos and Panagiotis Angelopoulos.

Sasha Vezenkov received his award for making the All-Euroleague first team. The Olympiacos’ forward thanked all those who helped him achieve this distinction.

Kostas Sloukas made the All-Euroleague second team, while he got one more award: That for the best regular season play, when he awarded the win to our team against Efes with a three at the buzzer. “I feel vindicated”, he said among other things, while he then wished that Olympiacos wins against Efes easier tomorrow, so that he doesn’t have to take the last shot again.

Giorgos Printezis attended the Press Conference in the capacity of Olympiacos’ captain for the first time in his career, and urged both his team mates and the fans to enjoy the Final Four.
