Bartzokas: «I will never forget about it my whole life...»

This season’s European journey for Olympiacos has come to its end and it was filled with intense emotions.

It is obvious in what our team’s coach, Giorgos Bartzokas commented on OlympiacosBC TV. “If I could talk about two things, then these would definitely be that fantastic crowd of ours and the apotheosis for Printezis. These are things I will never forget in all my life. I don’t think they have ever happened before. I’m also talking about support for a team that did not succeed in the final four, but also the apotheosis reserved for a player that his contribution to the team for twenty years now has been selfless and immense”.

Asked about how he felt when he was also celebrated by the ‘reds’ fans, he replied: “It translates to the appreciation the fans have for the team and in what we have presented them with this season. That’s always the case. All the team members are accepted, appreciated and celebrated because they realized that we gradually created something that was extremely attractive in regard to how the fans of Olympiacos think about the team”.
