Bartzokas: «We must focus on the game against Partizan»

Olympiacos got an easy win in Nikaia and is now focusing on the home game against Partizan on Thursday.

"It was a game circumstances had us play in a lot less than 48 hours following the game against Valencia. So, as you can understand, there was little time to prepare it, there was energy spent against Valencia and it had been quite a lot the way the game evolved", what what the Olympiacos' coach, Giorgos Bartzokas had to say before continuing with his comments: "I don't have any complaints though. We all tried to bring energy on the floor, our guards quite a lot, our big players also. Ionikos is a very good team and we got to understand that not just from scouting them, but also by playing them today. They shoot very well. They have two very experienced players, Mantzaris and Mavrokefalidis and they are both play-makers, one from the perimeter and the other inside the post. They have good shooters and guys that go after every rebound. So, it was demanded from us to play a good 6 minute defensive game in the third quarter, so as to open up the difference to 20 points and have the game conclude somewhere there. Congratulations to Nikaia. We now have to focus on our next target. In three days from now we are again playing a difficult game, this time against Partizan and we need to be ready".
