Vezenkov: «We must play at 100%

The tempo and the Olympiacos’ fans are going to be, according to Sasha Vezenkov, the things to determine the winner of tomorrow’s game (10/11, 20:00 CET) against Partizan.

 “It’s going to be a very demanding and difficult game, against a team that has gotten some very important results in recent games”, the ‘red & whites’ forward pointed out. “We know they have a core of 6 – 7 players that play very hard and fight for the win until the very end of each game. Both of the games they’ve lost, they were leading most of the time. We need to pay attention to the game tempo, match up their intensity, play at 100% and following two unsuccessful games, to get this win with our fans, against a very good team”.  

Asked if he thinks some of the players of the Serbian team stand out, he replied: “There are definitely 3 or 4 players that have been playing a lot. They played more than 36 minutes in their last game… Panter, Leday, Lessort, they are all in amazing shape. They have other players that help a lot though. Like I said, they are a 7- 8 man team, so they all know their roles, they have all been playing a lot and we need to give them something more and not make the mistakes of the previous two games, so as to get the victory”.
