Bartzokas: «The win against Bayern is very important»

Giorgos Bartzokas stressed the importance of the road win over Bayern.

“We had been leading throughout the game, but expected that Bayern would be making a come back. They took advantage of our bad second quarter, when we allowed them to do a lot of things on the court due to our bad defense. They have had seven offensive rebounds during that time and closed in to six points by halftime. But our initial line up got to score 27 points in the third quarter and this was really significant into controlling the game once again. We tried to match up Bayern’s energy to avoid receiving some threes they shot. We finally got the win, which is really important, because it’s the fourth one out of four Euroleague road games. This is really a big thing, given that all teams we have played against are great ones. All the best to Bayern”.
