Bartzokas: «The game was helpful in view of the Cup competition»

The coach of Olympiacos, Giorgos Bartzokas, said the game against Ionikos to be a good ‘warm up’ in view of the Greek Cup Final 8.

“It was a game that should normally have been played at the SEF in front of our fans. We played here. I think that both teams saw the game as procedural, we simply waited for the final score and the extend of the difference. We tried to give minutes not according to how the players were performing, but according to the minutes they had to take. This game helped us keep a competitive rhythm in view of the Cup games.
