«We are100% ready»

Olympiacos flied to Kaunas on Wednesday, with the 'red & whites' coach, Giorgos Bartzokas, stressing that his team is 100% ready.

"We are ready, 100%. We had to go through a process, the playoffs made us stronger. Practices have been targeted. Teams are very well acquainted with the procedure. Those with experience are more ready to help the rest", he said.

And he went on with the following: "All the coaches are very capable, very ready. A lot of factors play in with a final four. Often times, luck also. Last year we were at the tough side of the evening, losing a spot in the final at the buzzer. Let's hope that this year we are luckier, maybe even more ready and skilled. The fact that we are at the final four for the second year in a row is very important. We have an extended Greek core and this is a really significant thing for the club. If we are a little bit lucky, we may be coming back smiling".

On his part, Sasha Vezenkov pointed out: "We feel well and ready. We have filled up our batteries, we have been practicing. There's no need for extra motivation or focus, we are ready for the fight. In these tournaments, each one lives through the experience their own way. We follow in the footsteps of our two captains, Papanikolaou and Sloukas, who are the oldest among us. With work, consistensy and dedication, we are going to continue doing what we have done up to now".
