Bartzokas: "We approached the game with seriousness"
The coach of Olympiacos, Giorgos Bartzokas appeared to be satisfied by the effort and the seriousness his players showed during the semi-finals game against Peristeri.
“It was a game that we hadn’t expected to be easy and it wasn’t. Peristeri has played many games with its full roster, and as far as I can tell, they are the team most in shape right now in Greece, judging by the way they play. We approached the game with seriousness, we paid attention to the back court and we played as a team when attacking and hence we won.
Fall played for three quarters. We are trying to recuperate. Congratulations to Peristeri and good luck. The most important thing right now is to match one another in terms of physical conditioning. We have had players with injuries, others are worn down by participating the Mundobakset. We are going to try and stay within our plan, because it’s going to be a long year. We have two great centers and that’s wonderful. I have never had a twin set of players of that size”.
