Dorsey: «I want to make this the best year of my career»

Tyler Dorsey returned to Olympiacos and through Olympiacosbc.gr he gets to explain why, sets the goals for the new season and hopes for an individual and group relaunch.

The 28-year old guard has once again docked in the Piraeus harbor and talking to the official 'red & whites' web-page, he stressed that he wants, just like his previous stint with the team, to win all domestic titles as well as the Euroleague, that both he and the fans long for.

What are your feelings and first thoughts following your return to the team?

«I feel really good to have come back to Greece and to Olympiacos. My family and I have loved the team and where we were living at the last time I was with Olympiacos. I feel really happy because I still remember how warmly I had been embraced the last time I was here, since day one. The fans, everyone on the team, the staff, the players, the coaches, everyone, I never had any complaints about how I was treated, it was something unique. And that's why I can say that I have kept relationships through all the years that we were apart, since there had been mutual respect and trust».

Which were the reasons to make you accept Olympiacos' offer and come back to the team?

«I said 'yes' to Olympiacos' offer, since I saw it as a great opportunity for me to go back to a top organization, an excellent situation for me, with the same core of players for years now, as well as the same coach. Many of the guys I had been teammates with the last time are still here and I feel it's a great opportunity to win titles again and try and win the Euroleague as well. My team has come so close to making it may times, but failed to do it for various reasons. So, I want to be part of that group and win the Euroleague this season».

Is there something you missed while away, that you feel happy about finding it again?

«I missed it all. From the weather (laughing) up to being on the court every day with may team mates and coaches. I love everything about Greece and Olympiacos. So, I wanted to come back and live it all again. I enjoy being there and I have huge motivation and lots to prove. I want the coming season to become the best of my career».

Before you go, would you like to send a message to the fans who seem overly excited with your return?

«What I want to say to our fans is that we are going to do everything to bring back all the trophies, to win it all. Our fans have always supported us big way and they have shown their love and I promise we'll do everything to return the joy they give us by winning it all».
