Α legendary fiesta! (vid)

Everyone was there for Olympiacos’ fiesta! In a packed Peace and Friendship Stadium, our team’s captain, Kostas Papanikolaou, got the trophy from the hands of Argyris Kampouris and lifted it up to the skies in total apotheosis!

The same recognition was also addressed to the Presidents of the Club, Panagotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos, our team’s coach, Giorgos Bartzokas, as well to all the members of the ‘red & whites’ family!

“We thank you for all being here today”, Panagiotis Angelopoulos said. “You’ve been supporting us throughout the season. You’ve been packing the gym and that’s how we want it next season as well. We want even more sold outs. Let’s break the sold out record next year!”

And he went on under the loud singing of the fans that were urging them to always stay with the team, expressing his anticipation to for Olympiacos to make the Peace and Friendship Stadium their own at some point. “We’ve been writing history together. We are celebrating a back to back double crown. These are unique moments we are living. We deserve them all. I think the time is now for Olympiacos to have their own gym, which is no other than the Peace and Friendship Stadium”.

On his part, Giorgos Angelopoulos, pointed out the following: “in 2019, when we walked out of the game at the OAKA, it had been the most difficult decision of our lives, the one we made to take it all the way to the end. If we hadn’t have your support, we would not have made it. So, thank you for everything. Till the end goes on. We’re just getting started…”

Captain Kostas Papanikolaou, got the mike and said: “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being here, all of you that have been supporting us all year round should know that you are the gas in our team’s engine, without you, we would have done nothing”.
