When I was 10: Charles Jenkins!

We are turning back in time, when the Olympiacos players were ten years old. What life was like for them? What do they remember from their childhoods?

I was living
«In Queens, Νew York»

I was living with
«My mother, my father and my sister».

Our pets at the time were
«A Yorkshire named Sookie! It belonged to my sister».

schoolMy school at the time was
«P.S. 195, five blocks from my home».

My best friend’s name was
«Daquan “flee” Batts».

People would call me
«Baby Bull».

The basketball team I was playing for
«I was playing for my dads team. He was the coach. The name was Impact basketball».

I was rooting for
«I wasn’t following the NBA that much. I used to watch baseball, more specifically, the Mets».

My favorite player was
«Allen Iverson».

martin showMy favorite TV show
«Martin».

My breakfast would be
«Egg and cheese sandwich. My mom would be making it for me from sixth grade through the ninth».

I would be vacationing
«With my uncle in Virginia».

I was carrying in my wallet
«A subway pass, a bus pass and maybe a dollar».

I would go to bed at
«At 23:00! I used to watch the 22.00 news program that would wrap up at 23.00».

What I loved doing
“All the neighborhood kids would be going out on our bikes and ‘chase’ one another».

The ‘dumbest’ thing I had done
«We had a high ledger at home, so I would put all the couch pillows on the floor and jump from there. I got hurt quite a few times, but nothing serious».

The person I would “copy” would be
«Two people… My brother and my father».

My favorite place on earth was
«My home. I had never traveled until then».

My worst habit would be
«I didn’t want to shower when I got home. My parents would make me to though, because I would have spent the whole day outdoors».

nba live 1999My favorite game
«NBA Live».

I was hoping that dinner would be
«Chicken».

Other sports I liked
«Baseball».

Apart from sports, I would love
«Hanging out with my friends and playing video games».

If I had 100 euro to spare, I would spend them on
«Sweets».

Olympiacos’ meant to me
«I knew nothing about Olympiacos».
