Community Volunteer Program

The Olympiacos B.C. Volunteer Program is an innovative initiative of the Club, aiming to bring the hundreds of thousands of Olympiacos fans even closer to the team they love.

Through this program, Olympiacos basketball fans have the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of games and club events up close, actively contribute to the Club they support, meet their idols in person, and become an integral part of the great Olympiacos family.

Volunteers of Olympiacos B.C. are given the opportunity to offer their knowledge, skills, enthusiasm and abilities, contributing substantially to the Club’s operations and activities. Their involvement extends to areas such as fan services, sponsor support, ticketing, spectator entertainment, the Club’s Social Responsibility Program, as well as many other departments and activities of Olympiacos B.C.

The Volunteer Program has been designed by the Marketing Department of Olympiacos B.C., with the primary goal of responding to the interest of fans who wish to contribute to the Club’s activities, support its efforts, and become an active part of the great red-and-white family.

At the same time, the program covers significant operational needs of Olympiacos B.C., both during home games and in the Club’s daily operations.

Volunteer Positions Description

Spectator Services

During each game, there are designated areas within the arena that require supervision or protection, as well as zones where access is restricted to accredited personnel or ticket holders only.

Volunteers assigned to this area are responsible for area supervision and access control. At the same time, spectator assistance is a key factor for the successful organization of a game, including duties such as seating guidance, support for people with disabilities, and providing information about the arena’s facilities.

Photography & Video Services

This department is responsible for the photography and video recording of Olympiacos B.C. and sponsor activities, before and during games, within the arena, the stands, the FUN FAN ZONE, and any other location deemed necessary.

Additionally, it includes the documentation of the overall presence and visibility (branding) of partner companies inside the arena.

Social Responsibility Program

Olympiacos B.C. implements a structured and long-standing Social Responsibility Program with a significant social impact. Within this framework, volunteers participate throughout the entire season in social contribution initiatives.

The program also includes the successful EuroLeague One Team initiative, through which Olympiacos B.C. maintains ongoing collaboration with schools and institutions, teaching basketball and promoting life values to children and adults.

All initiatives aim to inform and raise awareness among fans of all ages.

During the 2024-2025 season, the FUN FAN ZONE at SEF was also created, aiming to provide entertainment and educational experiences for young fans.

Media / Press Office

At every game, the Press Office of Olympiacos B.C. relies on the support of volunteers to assist journalists, ensuring smooth access to areas such as the press conference room and media tribunes.

Operations Department

The successful organization of every home game requires the full preparation of all arena areas, including halls, corridors, stands, and operational facilities, prior to tip-off.

This department requires extended time commitment, coordination, and strong teamwork from volunteers involved in the preparation of the venue.

Spectator Entertainment

Volunteers participate in the organization of contests and activities of Olympiacos B.C. and its sponsors, aiming to create a lively and festive atmosphere at every game, in collaboration with the Entertainment Team.

At the same time, Olympiacos B.C. has developed a new, fully interactive space for fans of all ages, where volunteers and trained staff act as primary hosts.
