The Olympiacos organization, once again a pioneer in matters of social responsibility, stood by the children who are fighting their own battle in the wards of the “Elpida” Pediatric Oncology Hospital.
The Olympiacos BC Academy, the Olympiacos Veterans Basketball Players Association, and the charitable organization “The Sun Will Rise Again - Alexandros” joined forces, with the support of Olympiacos BC, with a common goal: to support children with cancer.
In this context, on Holy Tuesday (April 7), the Director of the Olympiacos BC Academy, Achilleas Demenagas, the President of the charitable organization “The Sun Will Rise Again - Alexandros,” Matina Kyriakou, and the Technical Advisor of the Olympiacos BC Academy and member of the Olympiacos Veterans Basketball Players Association, Argyris Kampouris, visited the “Elpida Marianna V. Vardinogianni” Pediatric Oncology Hospital.
The purpose of their visit was to deliver 12 state-of-the-art otoscopes and 2 stethoscopes to support the pediatric oncology wards OTAC, TAO, as well as the Hospital’s Transplant Unit.
It is worth noting that this important social and charitable initiative follows the highly successful event held at SEF on February 15, on the occasion of International Childhood Cancer Day.
